How to care for your brushes?
- Cleanse or Sanitize your makeup brushes every 7-10 to minimize breakouts
- Opt for a mild, gentle cleanser, like baby shampoo or a dedicated makeup brush cleanser. Harsh soaps or detergents can damage the bristles over time.
- When cleaning, avoid aggressive scrubbing or twisting, as it can damage the bristles. Instead, gently lather the cleanser, rinse with lukewarm water, and gently pat dry with a clean towel.
- After cleaning, reshape the bristles while they're damp and allow the brushes to air dry by laying them flat on a clean towel. Avoid drying them upright, as water can seep into the ferrule (the metal part) and weaken the glue holding the bristles.
